P18

The current P18 team for the 2025 season is a squad filled with experienced and ambitious players with high hopes for the current season moving forward. The assignment of a new coach, following the tearsome departure of their old coach Lindsay Armstrong sees the team taking a new approach to the game. Killian O’Brien is a former amateur rugby player turned referee for rugby Europe. He brings a deep understanding of the sport collected through the years of experience which will surely benefit the team whom he has high expectations for.

A handful of the current starting XV have previously brought home the gold whilst participating in the Youth Swedish championship as well as the Viking Cup, Scandinavia's largest international youth tournament.

Furthermore several players have represented the Swedish national team in both the 15s and 7s format and 7 players have just recently attended a national team camp which aims to give the players a chance to display their abilities in order for the coaches to select a final squad to represent Sweden in the future.

The central aim for the P18 team is to successfully conquer Sweden through claiming the 1st place title in both the Youth Swedish Championship and the Viking Cup. This will be of course a challenging feat for the team however they have the utmost confidence and are anxiously awaiting the next opportunity they get to present their expertise.

Moreover, they have organized to participate in a 9 match tournament in a league format, where they will face off against Swedish sides such as Stockholm Exiles.

The conquerors of Swedish rugby from the south are sure to put on an exhilarating performance when they attend their next tournament the Viking Cup this summer.
